Does anyone else get sad when flowers dry up and die? I know, such a weird start to the post, but some of the flowers in these photos where drying up and dying. It’s so funny, because, I get so attached to flowers and with this particular bouquet, I did not remove them from the wrapping because I liked them that much. I was honestly sad once they started drying up, my room looked so pretty having them on my vanity table. My table looks so plain now, guess it’s time to visit the store for more.

I do however love using dry flower petals for photos, especially for makeup products and jewelry. Guess I am one to not let beautiful things go, even when they seem to have no use. Also, the wrapping matched my background so beautifully which made me so happy during this photo shoot.

Anyway, on to the fashion. My lavender dress is from Forever 21, it is a very comfortable as the material is stretchy and it is an easy to wear number. The straps are perfect for summer and so is the color. I wanted to keep the colors light, so I added my gold heels, gold earring and my tan colored purse.
