Hi everyone! Hope you are enjoying this snowy/rainy weekend! This is such a cozy time of the year. Nothing like being curled up under warm blankets while watching the snow fall or hearing the rain splatter. I truly love this time of the year.

Today I am sharing this winter outfit featuring this checked skirt and knit beanie from Forever 21. I got these two items during the same shopping trip and it took me a lot longer than anyone should spend in Forever 21. First, this was an unplanned and unbudgeted trip, so the guilt and indecisiveness was in full force. But, I gave in and treated myself to an undeserved shopping spree. Second, I was not sure if I should go with the fall checked skirt (see here) or this winter skirt, I picked both which drastically raised my already high guilt levels. Finally, I could not pick between the white or pink beanie and both was not an option. Naturally, it made sense to go with a color that I would wear more and white goes with just about everything. Ultimately, I am happy I have all these items. I have always found the best items during unplanned shopping sprees.

But back to the outfit, I completed this look with my thigh high boots and leather jacket. I also added a pink infinity scarf to bring some much needed color to my outfit, and I love how it turned out. Pink and black has always been a favorite color combination of mine.
