Spring has finally sprung! At least it feels that way. I am so excited for warm weather and even more excited for the beautiful bright spring and summer clothing that follows. So with that in mind, I am sharing this colorful bright jacket and lovely houndstooth dress outfit to brighten up your day.

It is so refreshing to bring out color, especially when you can stay warm and cozy while doing it. Purple is one of my favorite colors and I adore this jacket. It’s pretty light so it’s perfect for a little added warmth on those cool days and it has enough room to layer if you need to. Finding cute and bright colored jackets and sweaters is officially a goal of mine. I realize that a pretty jacket is just as important as a pretty top or dress because it introduces your outfit to the world. Coming to think about it, more people probably see your jackets and coats than they do your overall outfit. So I will be sure to be covered in pretty and warm coats going forward.

For my dress, I kept it simple and played with pattern instead. How pretty is this houndstooth dress? I love its simplicity yet striking effect. It just screams class to me and I am all about that. In an attempt to stay warm, I added black leggings and wore my black heels. It’s a simple outfit to put together and it is one of my favorite looks.

As always, I kept accessories super simple and wore stud earrings, added a classic black purse and wore silver sunglasses.
