Hi everyone!!! How are you holding up with everything that is going on? It is such a weird, sad and scary time, and I cannot wait for things to get back to normal again. For me, I feel like I am stuck in a nightmare and I cannot wake up. I miss simple things, like shopping in peace, working out and most importantly having peace of mind and feeling safe when stepping out. However, this situation has also reminded me of how blessed I am. I have never appreciated my job and most importantly my health as much as I do today. I will continue to pray for everyone out there because this pandemic seems to get worse each day. Please take care of yourselves and listen to experts only. Things will get better soon.
With all that has been happening, I debated if I should post on the blog because just about everyone’s concerns and focus is currently on the Corona Virus Pandemic and understandably so. However, the more that I though more about it, I realized that we all could use a break from the sad and scary COVID-19 news, especially while on lock down. So I hope this post and future posts will be taken as a break to think of something light and different for a little while before resuming focus on this serious matter.
So, moving on to fashion fun. Funny how my post is for an office inspired look when most businesses are currently closed. However, I love the look and I am still excited to share it. Let’s think of this as planning our outfits for the return to our jobs.
The skirt is the star of this look, I especially love the lace detail on it. It’s such a little flirty, cute detail and the main reason I bought the skirt. I also like that it is a versatile piece of clothing and can be worn to a lot of events besides the office. It is definetly a must have and a fun feature to an all black skirt.
For the top, I kept it simple and wore a turtle neck. I chose a black top as I was going for an all black look with pops of color. That is where my accessories come into play. I wore a pretty pink and blue silk floral neck scarf, green sunglasses and a tan purse which has a ‘lace’ snake print matching the lace detail on my skirt. I completed the look with pearl earrings and black stiletto heels. Simple yet classy!
I hope you like and enjoyed this post. All photography is by Ann Maas Photography.
Until next time…. XoXo, Nia!!!
