I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving holiday. There is so much to be thankful for, and my list of blessings in 2019 is so unbelievably long and I cannot thank God enough for each blessing. Things really do happen for a reason, so if things didn’t go as planned, think about it as a redirection rather than a denial. Something more beautiful is on its way to you. But I love that we have a day, once a year that we are reminded to be thankful.
Today, I am sharing my final fall outfit which is featuring this lovely poncho I borrowed from my mom. I wanted something that was warm, cozy and screamed fall and this item checked all the boxes. I just love being in style while comfortable at the same time. Those outfits and clothing pieces are winners, and definite repeat wear items. With that said, I might hold on to this poncho a little longer before I return to owner.
While this outfit already stands out on its own, I wanted to turn the style up even more, so I added a floppy hat. I think floppy hats are so fashionable and they can easily turn a boring outfit into one that is filled with elegance. Because my “statement” accessory was the hat, I kept the jewelry to a minimum and only wore pearl stud earrings.
For shoes, I wore my black knee high boots and added a black purse to keep the poncho as the focus of the outfit. Finally, I completed the look with gold sunglasses and I stepped out into the bliss fall to enjoy the day.
As always, thank you so much for visiting my blog and I will see you on my next post. All pictures by Ann Maas Photography… visit her at www.anniem.zenfolio.com
XoXo… Nia!!!
PS: I tried synching the waist on the poncho… yay or nay? Let me know…
