Hi Everyone,
I am super excited to be back on the blog and share an outfit idea with you. It has been a long time since I have been here and honestly, I have simply been unmotivated. Being unable to go out and take pictures leaves me so unmotivated to blog. Additionally, the current events are so emotionally draining that all I do it sit and stare in disbelief that racism, killings and death from Covid are the norm. I find myself drained, upset and feeling helpless. Not being comfortable outdoors and being stuck in has been no help to my mood either. However, I am happy to see how people have been out to protest and the support received from other races as well. It gives hope that many people are tired of racism and that the future will be a lot better. I do want to give a big thank you filled with hugs and kisses to the non-black supporters that are genuinely supporting the cause and not simply jumping on the bandwagon to say what they think we want to hear. I have respect for those that are genuinely upset and want change. Let’s pray that change comes soon.
But, back to the fashion. I am thinking of ways that I can safely meet with my photographer and get back to shooting again. Blogging is my escape and it brings me great enjoyment. Along with shopping and getting new packages in the mail. I MUST get back to it as soon as possible.
So for this first look of summer 2020, I am sharing a clean white top that is spring and summer appropriate. I just love the puffy, pleated sleeves and lace detail on the middle area of the top. Both are such feminine details and it does feel great to be wrapped up in this top. The material is so thin and breathable that you can get away with wearing it in summer, at least in early summer before it gets super-hot outside.
I wanted to keep this look simple but cute, so I wore my high waist jeans and completed the look with white heels. The heels are a first for me, and I love them, I cannot wait to create more looks with them. Finally, I completed the look with simple but fun accessories, which include silver sunglasses, a pearl necklace and earrings as well as my lovely blush pink Kate Spade purse. Simple yet classy!
I hope you like and enjoyed this look and post. All photography, by the amazing Ann Maas Photography.
See you on my next post,
XoXo…. Nia!!!
