Release the hounds! Well, in this case, the houndstooth cape. I love the comfy clothes that come with the colder months and this cape definitely delivers on the comfy and style. Houndstooth is another classic winter material and this was another outfit that had me feeling as classy as a lady can be. Additionally, it is a material that stands out and I love wearing pieces that make an outfit, super interesting and fun.

There is so much that can be done to turn a houndstooth item into an exciting outfit and for me, adding a pop of color and synching the waist with a belt was my way of adding even more style to this look. However, if you prefer wearing the cape un-synched, it would look just as good.

For warmth, I wore a turtleneck sweater underneath the cape because I love being warm and I am always cold. Come to think of it, that is a benefit to this cape, it has plenty of room to layer as much as needed…. Super Win, Win!

Staying on the keeping warm theme, I wore my stylish thigh high boots over jeans. A favorite look of mine and one I will probably never get tired of. My accessories was another favorite when styling this outfit. I wore cute hair clips that make this a fun look, especially because I am lazy and rarely do anything to my hair; this minor detail meant so much to me. I also accessorized with silver sunglasses and completed the look with a bright yellow purse that brings the outfit together.
