Fall is here, which means plaid prints are out to play. Plaid is one of my fall favorites because it is such a change in print from bright summer prints and that instantly gets me in the fall spirit. Additional, I like that that plaids are a neutral color which makes them super easy to style. Just about every color will match perfectly with most colors, no matter how bright, and you will still look dressed appropriately for the season.

For this look, I wanted to present an outfit that could pass for work wear so I kept it simple and paired my plaid skirt with a white top. Stylish yet simplistic outfits are my ultimate favorite. Life must be as simple and possible, so do the same with you outfits. Taking several hours to get dressed is not the best even though the effort was worth it. Time is too precious for that.

In the spirit of simplicity, I kept my accessories to neutral colors and wore my black heels with gold studs and tan colored straps, to match my skirt and add a bit of color. I had my black work purse and cream-colored pearl earrings and necklace.

I hope this outfit inspires your fall/winter work outfit this year. Ignoring the fact that my top lifted while I tried to look cute for these pictures lol, I hope the color combination and overall idea is what you get out of this look and post.
