Fall Feels

Hi everyone! Hope you are having a great day and month so far. Today’s look is inspired by the pretty browns of fall and how I feel myself slowly getting into the fall sprite. The change is very noticeable, especially when you walk into a store and all the pretty fall decorations stare back at you, sweetly whispering, “buy me!.” The temptation is so intense and walking away from pretty home décor breaks my heart. But I have to remind myself that these are seasonal items and most importantly, they are not necessities. (cries* adulting is hard, younger me would consider them a necessity). Anyway, pumpkin everything has returned and though I am not a fun of anything pumpkin flavored, it is the final reminder for me that summer is fading away and fall is coming in.

Fall Home Decor

Today’s outfit, is the perfect season transitional item. The color is appropriate for both summer and fall because it has a blush pink undertone, that works for summer, yet it is brown enough to pass for fall. Additionally, being that it is still, in reality, summer out there with temperatures still in the 80’s, the romper is perfect and provides the needed comfort for the weather. I also love the pleated detailing on the romper. Not only does it make the romper stand out more, something that is much needed being that it is a brown “dress,” but it is one of my favorite feminine details a clothing item can have. Pleats add a unexplainable softness and classiness to clothes that an item that’s so simple, looks truly impeccable because of that.

For accessories, I kept things simple, and added a black purse and belt. For shoes, I wore my studded clear heels because, I think the outfit needed something with a brighter color. And with that reasoning, gold earrings where added to complete the look.

I hope everyone is enjoying the transition into fall and changing your home décor to match the change in season.

I will see you on my next post!

XoXo… Nia!!!
