Feminine Blues

The last days of summer have me feeling really sad about this reality. I feel like the days and months went by so quickly, yet super slow at the same time. I have very few great memories of being out this year, that I can sadly count them on one hand. Now I have to prepare, mentally and emotionally for more days indoors, as it will soon be too cold for outdoor activities. But not to make this a depressing moment, I love winter and honestly, prefer colder months to warmer ones. Fall and winter fashion are especially fun and they challenge me to keep my outfits interesting, as I am always thinking of ways to look cute, yet stay comfortable and most importantly, warm. However, that is a thought for another day and for now, I will enjoy summer fashion  and the comfort of wearing less.

Summer fashion is exciting because it does not get any easier to get dressed. Find a cute dress, shoes, a purse and you are out the door. However, the bright summer colors are my absolute favorite part of summer fashion. Lately, I have been researching on feminine clothes, and baby blue stood out as a feminine color. With that in mind, this baby blue dress with white floral details on it was purchased. Another feature that makes this dress feminine, is the wrap detailing, which would compliment any female figure. The ruffle details are just as amazing and the adjustable straps make this a comfortable item to own and wear.

While doing my research on summer clothing and trends, the gorgeous straw bags was one that is trending for another year and I love that it is. They are so cute and sturdy and give that summer feel and look. They are simply amazing and owning one is worth it because they add an elegance to your daytime outfits.

One thing that I would like to add about summer fashion, is that, while it is easy to wear a dress and shoes and walk out the door, accessories are super important because that’s where it shows that effort and thought was put into your outfits. Cute, simple jewelry goes a very long way and with this look, I went with rose gold diamond earrings, bracelet and a necklace. I completed the look with mirrored sunglasses and white heels to bring out the white flowers in the dress.

This was a fun look and I enjoyed putting my research into practice and action. I love how everything turned out and getting back into heels, feminine wear and behind the camera. It is all so much fun for me.

I will see you on my next post and thank you for visiting my blog.

XOXO… Nia!!!
